Since foundation of Precision System Science Co., Ltd., we have been working on the development, manufacturing and sales of
bio-healthcare system and related products for a long time. Throughout the period, we consistently seek for "simplification/standardization/lower cost by automatization" as main theme and continue to think about how to mitigate the workload of our customers of medical institutions or laboratories engaged in the intensive manual inspection every day.
With the concept of "creation of simple automated system that everybody can handle", PSS keeps challenging the product development for higher usability.
Until now, major business of PSS has been development of automated system and manufacturing/sales of the system and dedicated consumables. And recently, we are successful in establishing a "recurring revenue" type of business model with nucleic acid extraction reagent dedicated to the automated system by adding "nucleic acid extraction reagent cartridge" to the system components, and are pouring more resources in this business.
From the 27th of September 2024, PSS drives reinforcement of business fundamentals and drastic rearrangement of business domain under new management. Having "COVID shock to business restoration and growth phase" as key concept, we will continue selection and concentration for our core competence, manufacturing and sales of genetic analysis products aiming at improvement of profitability and corporate performance in the short term.
With the concept of "creation of simple automated system that everybody can handle", PSS is determined to contribute to the medical industry by spreading automated systems in global market.
